forest hill farmhouse

The timing for the project worked out perfectly because I just so happened to reach out to the team at Forest Hill Farmhouse right as they were looking for a professional photographer to capture their full menu. They wanted these images for meal delivery partners as well as for their social media and in-store printed materials. They later came back and approached me for stop-motion work as well.

  • The ask: Capture all menu salads, wraps, and dressings at their restaurant location. Everything should be captured on white and look as consistent as possible for a feeling of uniformity throughout their website and on their meal delivery partners.
  • The team: Me as photographer and partnering with the content manager for creative direction. The client initially did not feel we needed a food stylist but later requested one, so I hired one on to the team to help make the shoot more efficient.
  • Post-production: I handled all the editing and colour correction and extensive retouching, especially on items like avocados, and on extending backgrounds where needed.
  • The result: Forest Hill Farm House now has a uniform menu page with a bright and clean aesthetic. They were also able to use the images on the outside walls of one of their new locations while under construction. The stop-motion video was used as a sponsored post and target ad on social media.
